Die meisten Trompeter blasen etwas zu viel nach unten, was dazu verleitet dass der Druckpunkt auf der Unterlippe liegt. Das Ergebnis: Ein dicker, glanzloser Ton ohne Höhe und Geschmeidigkeit. Diese technischen Übungen helfen dabei, den Druckpunkt auf die Oberlippe verlagern. So bekommt man mit der Zeit eine viel bessere Höhe, einen schöneren Ton und generell einen besseren Ansatz. Dies hilft auch dabei, die Lunge beim Blasen freier zu halten. Das Lungenvolumen und die Kraft werden sich besser entwickeln. Nicht zuletzt hilft es, Haltungsschäden zu vermeiden, z. B. Bandscheiben-Schäden oder eine verkümmerte Lunge.
Alles Wichtige zur Trompetentechnik, ein "Check-up" für fortgeschrittene Spieler und professionelle Trompeter.
